Crystal (“Mommy”)

        Crystal is a former IT geek known

        for her normalized databases

        (not really-Dale just likes saying

        that :), and answered to the name

        Crystal Woodring at one time. She has now     

        chosen to forego her geekdom and be a full

        time Mommy. It is a job in itself, and one

        that she loves. Perhaps in a future life you

        will find her bestseller in the bookstore.

Dale (“Daddy”)

Dale was formerly an underwear model before he

                       decided to pursue a career in IT.

                       OK, the first part isn’t true.

                       But in his next life (or in

                       this one if the opportunity

                       presented itself), he’d

                       choose to be a baseball

                       player or be in a rock band.

Connor (“Bucky”, “Honey”, “Sweetie Pie”)

Born:  May 6, 2008

Weight:  8 pounds

Height:  20 ¼ inches

Connor entered the world unexpectedly early at 38 weeks and 1 day, 2 weeks before his due date, and 1 week prior to his planned delivery date.  He couldn’t wait that long and needed to come out and see the world.  And that he did.  He came out screaming and peeing.  The doctor said he’d never heard one so loud!  

He grows and grows and grows.  He’s in the top percentiles in height and weight, and continues to amaze us with his new feats.  And he’s the cutest baby ever!  Yes, we are supposed to think that, but really, isn’t he?  :)  He’s going to have to fight the ladies away. He has a bit of Mommy and a bit of Daddy in him.  He has beautiful blue eyes, which Mommy had as a child, and Daddy’s dark hair.

Connor is the 1st grandchild to Dale’s parents and has 1 uncle, Dale’s brother Mike.  He is the 5th grandchild to Crystal’s parents, and has 2 aunts, 1 uncle, and 4 cousins from her side of the family.
